Longer investigations

Series

Questions that needed more than one experiment, and the connected builds that followed.

Connected investigations

When one experiment isn't the end of it

Sometimes the first result answers one question and exposes the next. A series keeps those connected experiments, rebuilds and detours together so we can see how the idea changed.

Follow the question

Each part starts from something the previous experiment couldn't settle. That keeps the work connected even when the apparatus changes completely.

Keep the versions

Instruments change as we learn what they can and cannot do. Keeping those versions visible shows where each capability, cable and oddly specific bracket came from.

Allow the useful detour

Radio, physical constants, computing and visualisation are all good at producing side questions. If a detour changes the measurement or opens a better method, it belongs with the story.
